Introduction
This follows the progress of an artist within the Artist Mosaic project
AMOUR De JUNGLE,
Mekka came abroad Artist Mosaic after our January seminars. Unlike most of the artist she lives in another borough. Like most she has other responsibilities which greatly conflict with her artistry! She recently gave me a thank you card , a well packaged version of her beautifully hand-crafted cinnamon earrings!
I am so blessed!
My 12 yr old son reminds me that people do not love their jobs they way I do. If the only thing That I got out pf this was my 12 yr olds understanding of job appreciation and true work. It was worth it.
Back to Mekka.
Since joining the group she has registered a web site.

since the project explores the realistic use of the web as a tool for home, artistic business, The artist is responsible for developing and maintaining their web sites, based on the topics we explored.
Most of the artist DO Not want to Do This Themselves. Preferring to hand over the marketing to someone else. I believe that to truly showcase your artistry , an artist must have a hand in creating the visual and emotion content of their site. Too many web designers are Techies not artist. My customers come to me for the shopping experience , can that be created on the web.?
Mekka agrees but it's too much. Finally finding a program that can help her 'right-brained artist mind wrap itself around the business of selling is enough.'

she is just getting a hold of her product line, she is yet to settle on pricing, she has a strong sense of what she is trying to create, but has not identified any potential market, thus her marketing approach, is well ...it's non existent. She has agreed to work this if I will assist her.

It's the first quetion I ask an artist,

But show me what I will get when I hand you my money.
justify why my hard earned $ 40.00 should be exchanged fot one, a half of or two of what ever you are selling.!
Because you made it is not a good enough reason.
Show it to me
an actual sample, a picture, drawing, sketch, on film!
Better yet describe it to me so that i'd know it even if my eyes closed.
